The Property Encantada and the Hosts
The Guest House Encantada is a magical place a few steps from the Magne Tower of Nîmes. In lush greenery with many species, the Encantada is a cozy and zen cocoon, far from the vicissitudes of the city while being close to the beautiful Roman city.
At the end of a cul-de-sac, you will find this family home of 250m2 and an independent Mazet of 25m2, in the middle of a property of 7500m2 in a beautiful hill Nîmes 20 minutes walk from the Place de la Révolution (downtown Nîmes).
You will be in a quiet and chic environment, without vis-à-vis, the property is fully fenced and accessible by an automatic gate, we have a videophone and surveillance cameras.
We offer 3 guest rooms with refined decoration composed of different furniture and unique decorative elements including the Mazet (a small independent house overlooking the property) and our table d'hôtes to enjoy Mediterranean dishes around the pool house or enjoy a glass of Costières de Nimes wine.
The bed and breakfast Encantada is located in the lower hills of Nîmes, in the district of Font Chapelle, a few minutes from the historic center of the Roman city where you can visit the Maison Carrée, the Arena, the Gardens of the Fountain and the Magne Tower. You can easily reach it by car, with city buses or even by bike or even on foot (20 minutes from the center).
In the Nîmes region , the Camargue National Park and the wild beaches of Espiguette are only 40 minutes by car as well as the fortified town of Aigues-Mortes; Montpellier Méditerranée airport is also equidistant. In Nîmes, you can taste the local cuisine in the many restaurants and for wine lovers, Luce and Philippe will show you the way to some properties including those located in the famous Costières de Nîmes appellation.

- A Poolhouse to take your breakfasts and dinner (table d'hôtes)

And we are now equipped to improve your comfort, with BAM (Mosquito Terminals) that cover the area around the house.
Your hosts, Luce and Philippe have lived for 30 years in different countries but also in several regions of France, they decided to return to their Mediterranean origins and finally settled in this little paradise after a real crush on this property, a family home but also a charming place to welcome guests from Europe and elsewhere, That was the idea behind the project. After 12 months of work carried out by local artisans in 2020 and 2021, we welcome you between April and October to share with us this enchanted living environment i.e. the Encantada in the Occitan language.
